With the knuckleball you can murder your enemies and let them see it coming, with the fastball you can slow them down to be merciful about it, with "Rune Bath" you can make someone sorry they even left their ancient, and with "Holy Light Show" you can... put Laser Floyd to shame.
So what about items?
He's an idiot, so focus on intelligence.
He's only got magic, think huge mana.
Arcane Boots and Magic Wand are most popular, but if you want my advice, keep it going with Rod of Atos to halt enemies in their tracks and Scythe of Vyse to combine the thoughts of Einstein with the magic regen of Gandolf.
